I have been working major overtime the last few weeks and to tell you the truth I'm exhausted. I can't wait to have a full staff again and take a couple of days off. The bonus to having to work alot is I do have some free time at work to sort of draft my blog and keep a record of things that happen day to day so I can write my weekly blog.
Diabetes Update:
Brandon is still going strong! I have been trying to rid my house of sugars and carbs and man am I over that! I'm trying to replace all the foods we like with a healthier alternative, which if you know me is not easy because
A.) I like sugars and carbs
B.) I do not like to try new things when it comes to food
Also I would like everyone to take a second and pray for Brandon. He stopped smoking a few months ago cold turkey, He was doing really well until this diabetes thing and now he is really wanting to light up. I was really proud of him for stopping and he needs to have the strength to keep it up
Kids Update:
All the kids are gearing up for a new school year and it will have some very interesting challenges this year. First of all Gabey (4) will start pre-school this year. He is my baby so I am having some issues with this and he is determined that his is not going. (Brandon may need your prayers for that also, as I'll be at work). Second the school in under major construction because they are rebuilding the entire school and next school year it will be made into a k-8 school, which I will love. Alexis will be a fifth grader, Darian a 3rd grader, Amaya a 1st grader and of course Gabriel will hopefully be a Pre-schooler!!! They just opened a new pool nearby and I think we are going to go there next weekend, if so I'm sure I will have some pics.
Me Update:
Well with all of this chaos going on I have decided to add to that by going back to school myself. My classes will start on 8/6 and I'm going for an Associates in Business, I'm taking all my classes thru an online school that is based in Savannah Ga. I have always wanted to go back to school and finish my education and I hope that I find success this time. I haven't told anyone about this except for Brandon of course and he has been super supportive! I have also been working on myself spiritually and going to church whenever I can. I have a long way to go on this also, but I'm trying my best to get close to God and see where he is going to lead me in life. I know I haven't fulfilled whatever purpose he has for me, but with prayer I'm sure I will get there!
Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers during this time of transition. Love ya Jodi and see you next week (or maybe sooner)
new update???
